Terry Arnold Brooks, 30, of Bethlehem, New Hampshire, formerly of Clarksville and Pittsburg, NH, passed away Monday, January 1, 2007, at his home in Bethlehem.

Terry was born March 23, 1976, in Colebrook, NH, son of Arnold Brooks and Bibiane (d'Anjou Brooks) Brunelle.

As a young child, Terry lived in Germany with his parents while his father served in the armed forces. His family returned to the states and he grew up in Clarksville and Pittsburg, NH, and attended school in both Colebrook and Pittsburg. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed playing basketball at Pittsburg High School. After school, he worked for a short period of time for Beecher Falls Division of Ethan Allen and later moved to Manchester, NH. For the past several years, he lived in Hancock, VT, and worked at the Hancock Hotel with his companion, Tanya Rancloes. Terry also enjoyed woodworking, golfing, fishing and playing cards, particularly poker.

He was very fond of spending time with his papere and mamere, Gaston and Yvonne d'Anjou, during the summers at Lake Wallace, and was particularly close to his paternal grandparents, Lester and Theresa Brooks. His greatest joy was spending time with his two sons, either by taking them fishing, sledding or just spending quiet moments together as a family. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and a loving son, companion, brother, nephew and friend.
