Mr. Munday was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy before his honorable discharge in 1946. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Mary E. (Driscoll) Munday.
He is survived by his sister, Edna May Samuels of Englewood, Florida; four children, Robert Munday Jr. of Marshalls Creek, PA, Patricia Munday of Whitegate, Ireland, William P. Munday of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, and Maryellen Munday of Duxbury; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Munday, Lindsey Munday, Paul Munday and Erica Munday.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts would be appreciated to Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice, 600 Granger Road, Barre, VT 05641. Perkins-Parker Funeral Home, Waterbury, VT, is in charge of arrangements.
