Patricia Izor Bolio, 51, of Winooski Street, Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly but in the comfort of her family at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Friday, August 10, 2007. Born in Montpelier on November 7, 1955, she was the youngest daughter of the late Charles R. and Ann (Donahue) Izor. She was previously married to Dennis Bolio.

Patty was a 1973 graduate of Harwood Union High School in Duxbury. Patty loved being a mother and dedicated her life to the care of her sons, Gabe and Chaz, and her parents, Charlie and Ann, and became the catalyst for many family gatherings. Whether it was through cooking for family and friends or visiting with neighbors, Patty was woven into the fabric of her community as a caretaker and had the heart and soul of a true friend that naturally drew people to her. She will be deeply missed by those who have grown to know and appreciate her many gifts.

Throughout the years, Patty volunteered at the Waterbury Elementary School and, more recently, at the Waterbury Area Senior Center.

Patty is survived by her beloved sons, Chaz W. R. Bolio of Burlington and Gabe M. Bolio of Cambridge, MA; her sisters, Regina Anderson and her husband Carl of Swanton and Christine Dalley and her husband Gary of Fayston; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. Patty was predeceased by her sister, Charlanne Noles.

A celebration of Patty's life will be held at the Waterbury Congregational Church on Thursday, August 16, at 11 a.m. Friends called at the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts would be appreciated to the Waterbury Food Shelf, P.O. Box 214, Waterbury, VT 05676. To send online condolences, please visit www.perkinsparker.com.
