Anne P. Moyer, 94, formerly of Waitsfield, died November 13, 2008, at home in Canaan, NH. She was born in Freeport, New York, on July 15, 1914, to Albert W. and Annie Wines (Piquet), of the Audemar Piguet Swiss watch fame.

Anne Moyer graduated in 1937 from Syracuse University with a BS degree in physical education. Anne was voted best looking and most popular by her classmates at Huntington High School in Long Island, NY. After the twins were in college, Anne moved from Brookfield (Danbury), Connecticut, to reside in Waitsfield with her late husband Alfred E. Moyer. She became a top salesperson in real estate and still found time to enjoy skiing, hunting and fishing with her lifelong friend and husband Al.  

She was a member of the Congregational Church of Warner, New Hampshire. She is most remembered as a loving mom and a wonderful homemaker. She leaves behind her twins, Diana L. Moyer-Dudley and Peter A. Moyer, their spouses, Jack Dudley and Sally A. Moyer, her caregiver, Alonda Kaler, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2009 at the family gravesite in Waitsfield. Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
