Jacob Thomas Courchaine, 15, of Blush Hill Road, Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, October 31, 2011. Born in Berlin on April 29, 1996, he was the son of Jeffry and Valerie (Davison) Courchaine.

Jacob was currently a freshman attending Harwood Union High School in Duxbury where he was enrolled in the Pre-Tech Outreach Program through the Barre Technical Center. In his spare time, Jacob enjoyed riding his dirt bike, ATV, snow machine and BMX bicycle, fishing, hunting, woodworking and listening to a wide variety of music.

Jacob is lovingly remembered as a young man who enjoyed his family and friends and being outdoors, and will be deeply missed.

Jacob is survived by his dad Jeffry Courchaine and his companion Ann May of Waterbury, his mom Valerie Illsley and her husband Jeremy of East Braintree; his sister Amber Courchaine of Middlesex; his brother Hunter Illsley of East Braintree; his paternal grandparents Ann Courchaine of Fayston and Phillippe Courchaine of Walden; his maternal grandmother Louise Sherman and her husband Kenneth of Williamstown; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Other service arrangements are pending.
