John Thomas “Jack” Robertson, 85, of Sugar Run, Fayston, died peacefully Monday, January 9, 2012. His family had been at his bedside.

Born December 19, 1926, in Boston, MA, he was the son of John J. and Mary (Kennedy) Robertson and was a graduate of Boston English High School.

On September 27, 1952, he married Anne Lynch in Cambridge, MA. Most of their married life had been spent in Woburn, MA. She died November 25, 1993.

For over 40 years, he was employed b the Polaroid Corporation in Waltham, MA, retiring in 1994 as a production planner. Since 2006, he had made his home in Fayston.

He enjoyed camping at Lake Winnipesaukee, boating, card playing, stamp and coin collecting and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. His son, Jim, was the apple of his eye.

Survivors include his son James T. Robertson and daughter-in-law Judy MacIsaac Robertson and his grandson Dylan MacIsaac, all of Warren.

He was predeceased by his wife Anne Robertson.

His committal service will be held Friday, January 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn, MA. There are no calling hours.
