Anna M. Small, mother of Mary Ellen Guion who lives in Waitsfield, was 78 years old when she passed away on May 16, 2012, at Saint Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick, New York. Born in Queens, NY, she lived in New Milford, New Jersey, most of her life before settling in Warwick, New York, near her daughter Anne in 1994.
Anna was a homemaker predeceased by her husband James C. in February 1985, survived by sons James, Edward, Tom, Shawn and daughters Mary Ellen and Anne. Also survived by brothers Sonny and Charles Costorf, a special sister Mary McKeon and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Boulevard Funeral Home in New Milford, NJ, on Saturday, May 19. Interment was held at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, New Jersey, following a beautiful service. Anna will be missed by her entire family, may she rest in peace.
