Previously, Kids on the Block Vermont has performed at the school around topics including tobacco and alcohol prevention and other health and safety-related issues. This year, students will leave the shows understanding the importance of breakfast, how healthy food can taste great and the importance of reasonable snacking habits. They will also understand what dental plaque is and associated problems, as well as things that can be done to help keep plaque from forming.

Kids on the Block Vermont was formed in 1982, with the mission of teaching children in Vermont how to keep themselves safe and healthy and to appreciate one another's physical and cultural differences. Performance topics include disabilities, cultural diversity, children's mental health, social and safety issues, substance use prevention and healthy bodies.
