Fayston fifth-grader Caleb Kessler was the winner of the 17th annual Clean Water Week poster contest.

His poster was selected from among those submitted by area elementary school students in the annual event. Kessler will receive a Sugarbush season pass and his school will receive the Clean Water Week Canoe trophy with his name etched on it. The school will also receive a pond/stream water testing kit that comes with curriculum because Fayston students submitted the most entries.

The theme for this year's contest was 'non source point pollution.' The contest garnered entries from Fayston, Warren, Waitsfield and Moretown students.
