Mad Dash draws over 300

On Sunday, October 12, over 300 runners participated in the Mad Dash, a 5k and 10k running race that took place on back roads in Waitsfield.

In the 5k race, James Donegan came in first for men with a time of 17:16. Jon Miller finished second in 17:48 and Drew Chambers finished third in 19:44. For women, Isabel Jamieson came in first with a time of 20:54. Richarda Ericson finished second in 21:34 and Meredith Leban finished third in 21:34.

In the 10k race, Caleb Kessler came in first for men with a time of 36:52. Cody Putnam finished second in 37:53 and Dana Glubiak finished third in 39:40. For women, Jordan Gonda came in first with a time of 44:47. Cara Toolin finished second in 46:45 and Lynne Giesecke finished third in 47:10.
