Sugarbush Resort is offering lift-served mountain biking this summer with a host of expanded programs. The resort plans to open lift-served terrain on Saturday, June 27, with 37 trails, 20 miles of terrain, 1,575 feet of vertical and a bike park. Daily lift-served mountain biking tickets are available for adults and youth. Bike rentals and gear are available in The Farmhouse Bike Shop for an additional cost.

Sugarbush is now offering the Mountain Bike Quad Pack – four lift-served mountain bike tickets that can be used any time during the 2015 summer season. MTB Quad Packs are only available for sale through June and can be redeemed at the ticket window. Individuals are limited to two Quad Packs each. The deal represents a 29 percent discount off the regular ticket price. MTB Quad Packs are available for purchase on Sugarbush.com or by phone at 800-53-SUGAR.

This summer, the resort has expanded its teaching offerings starting with Women’s Discovery Mountain Bike Clinics with Ali Zimmer. Zimmer, a pro mountain biker and Mad River Valley local, will lead free instructional riding clinics on Wednesday afternoons throughout the summer (final schedule to be announced). Sessions will provide a challenging and welcoming environment for women to improve basic skills, test their limits and ride with like-minded women.

There are also numerous other mountain bike camps and clinics for both children and adults. Kids can enjoy Mountain Bike Adventure Camp, offered three weeks this summer. Adults have their choice of private mountain bike lessons, group First-Timer Mountain Bike Lessons and Max 4 Bike Guide Programs. All of these offerings are available daily throughout the summer once mountain biking is open. The resort also offers both youth and adult First-Timer-to-Life-Timer Mountain Bike Programs – three bike lessons that net you a complimentary Summer Season Pass.

The resort is also hosting the Eastern States Cup Sugarbush Showdown on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23. The event is the final stop in the Eastern States Cup East Coast Showdown series featuring both enduro and downhill mountain bike races with a combined cash and prize purse of $14,000.
