Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS) students Carter Kendig, Class of 2016, and Lindsey Crowell, Class of 2018, were named to the Vermont All-State Soccer Team.

“As the senior captain and leading GMVS scorer, it was an honor for Carter to be named to the team and participate in the senior classic at Mt. Abraham High School,” says varsity coach and athletic director Jere Brophy. Regarding Lindsey Crowell, varsity coach Sarah Depres says, "Lindsey is one of the most composed defensive backs I have seen in a long time. She always positions herself well and knows when to strike against her opponents. She is very talented and could play any position on the field."

Green Mountain Valley School is a ski academy with alpine training facilities at Sugarbush Resort and multiple Nordic training facilities throughout the Mad River Valley area. The academy offers a full academic curriculum, theater program, student clubs and spring and fall sports. GMVS currently has graduates on the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Collegiate Team, Team Great Britain and the Spanish team.
