The Harwood Union wrestling team has been busy the last few weeks. On December 22, 2016, the team dueled at Mount Mansfield. "All of our guys wrestled with heart." said coach Kevin Streeter. "A couple of our wrestlers had the first match of their careers tonight!"

"We got our first team win of the season with victory over Vergennes," added coach Casey Moulton.

Then on December 28 and 29, Harwood’s varsity wrestlers participated in the Middlebury Invitational. Before weather conditions on December 29 forced Harwood’s wrestlers to head home, freshman Sully O’Hara took second in the170-pound weight class; junior Alick Lord took third in 195-pound weight class; sophomore Allen Clark took fourth at 138 pounds; and sophomore Ethan Howes took fifth at 152 pounds.
