Three days of field hockey are being offered at the Warren Elementary School during the Christmas break. The program is designed for beginning girls grades four through six. There are a limited number of spots so clinic-goers are encouraged to call ahead.

Under the direction of Sophie Lisaius, Division 1 player for the University of California at Davis, the girls will learn the basics of the game, proper warm-up and cool-down, and have opportunities to scrimmage. Assisting Lisaius will be the Times Argus Player of the Year Samantha Fox and two-time state champion Charlotte Thompson.

The clinics are Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening, December 26, 28 and 30, from 6 to 7 p.m. If anyone has equipment please bring it, but for those who don’t, equipment will be supplied. There is no cost to attend; however, it is encouraged that girls should try to make all three evenings if possible.
