On Tuesday, Harwood had a great opening of the season win, 5-1. Then, after a "lightning postponement" on Thursday, the girls traveled back to St. Johnsbury where Junior Celia Cadwell helped make the trips worth it by scoring all three goals in a 3-0 win. Junior goalkeeper McColl Harvey helped preserve her first varsity shutout with a penalty kick save in the 68th minute.

The girls' schedule includes a home match on September 5 versus Spaulding. They then travel to Woodstock on Friday for a rematch of last year's quarterfinal match. On Tuesday, September 11, the teams plays host to Lyndon at 4:30.
