The recent winning streak started with a decisive 3-1 home win versus North Country. Sophomore Ariel Goodman opened the scoring in the first half with an assist from Kelsey Lacroix. Fellow sophomore Jules Vergura tallied her first career varsity goal just two minutes into the second half, then added her second goal only four minutes later. This provided a 3-0 lead and pretty much secured the win. McColl Harvey only had to make five saves to preserve the win.

On Saturday, October 13, the girls traveled to U-32 on a day when the Raiders were celebrating their seniors final home game. Fortunately the Highlanders would do most of the celebrating. Senior captain Katie Raymond notched her fifth goal of the season in the first half and Ariel Goodman recorded her fourth of the season in the second half to provide all the scoring in a 2-0 win. Jules Vergura also picked up an assist. Strong defensive play from Sasha Rothenberg, Chloe Wexler and Julia Hayer helped to preserve the shutout along with McColl Harvey's six saves.

Finally, on October 16, the lady Highlanders celebrated their own "senior day." Incredibly, they were able to start all 11 seniors against cross-town rival GMVS and scored an early goal in the 10th minute. Senior Katie Raymond put HU on the board first from a Carmen Mason assist. Junior Mariah Liberty scored a great goal with just nine minutes remaining in the first half with a great feed from Jules Vergura. With a 2-0 halftime lead, the Highlanders felt comfortable.

GMVS brought the pressure in the second half and made it a very competitive match. Katie Raymond, fortunately, was able to score her second goal of the match to make it a 3-1 lead. A late goal from GMVS cut the lead to one but Harwood fought hard and secured the win in the last regular season game.
