Dear Waitsfield voters,
Our town needs the best leadership we can assemble to guide us into the decade ahead. I believe Brian Shupe, a candidate for the Waitsfield Select Board, is a person who can provide this leadership.
Brian’s record of volunteer and professional contributions to the Mad River Valley community cover a 30-year time span, including executive director of the Mad River Valley Planning District, vice chair of the Waitsfield Planning Commission, chair of the Waitsfield Development Review Board and a consultant to the town in developing its Town Plan and zoning regulations.
Brian’s creative insights for historic village preservation and growth are emulated in town plans across Vermont. He now holds the esteemed position of executive director of the Vermont Natural Resources Council. Brian would make an outstanding member of the Waitsfield Select Board.
In my opinion, Brian is immensely qualified to lead the town of Waitsfield forward.
