Warren Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is currently accepting pre-registrations for the Turkey Trot, a 2.5-mile race through historic Warren Village that takes place every year on Thanksgiving morning. All proceeds from the Turkey Trot benefit the PTO.
This year, day-of registration and warm-up will take place inside the school. To register on Thanksgiving, Warren PTO asks participants to arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. Pre-registered participants can check in between 9:15 and 9:45 a.m. Warm-up will begin at 9:45 a.m. and the race starts promptly at 10 a.m.
Pre-registration is available online at EventBrite.com or in person by cash or check at Mix Cupcakerie in Village Square Shopping Center in Waitsfield. Those who pre-register at Mix Cupcakerie will receive a free cupcake. New this year, the Turkey Trot is also offering a raffle in which pre-registered participants will automatically be entered.
