Are wind farms part of the plan

On May 18 the planning commission will meet at the Waitsfield United Church (next door to the town offices) at 7 p.m. At that meeting, Randy Male of Citizens Energy/Wind will present information on why the Northfield Ridge might be a good location for a wind farm. Other speakers will include Dennis Derryberry from the town's energy committee and Gaelen Brown of GroSolar who will provide information about solar energy options.
