The Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting takes place Wednesday, September 20, and will feature multiple venues in the vicinity of the corner of Routes 100 and 17.

Chamber executive director Eric Friedman reminded people to buy tickets by today, September 14, and promised a rocking good time thanks to Valley Meade Dispensary, the meeting host.

Here’s what to expect:

The festivities will start at 4:20 p.m. across the street with live music by the John Lackard Blues Band playing on the deck.

  • At 5 p.m. participants will have a chamber member-only pre-meeting mixer above the dispensary in the old Sage space.
  • At 6 p.m. head across the street for the chamber annual business meeting taking place in the new Welcome Center.
  • Participants will cap off the evening with a chamber members BBQ dinner beginning at 7 p.m. right after the meeting concludes. There will be a BBQ spread, with beer and wine. The cost per person is $15 with all proceeds going to support the chamber's stewardMRV campaign. Get tickets here:

“This will be a great opportunity to meet your fellow MRV business colleagues, enjoy some music, learn about the chamber's activities, check out the new Welcome Center and enjoy a great meal. I hope you can make it,” Friedman said.
