All About Bears offers participants the chance to discover the Black
Bear Snowshoe Trail and learn facts and lore about the large mammal that
make their homes in the MRG forests. The tours are scheduled for
January 22, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The Full Moon Snowshoe Tours on January 21 and 22 offer participants the
opportunity to explore Stark Mountain in the moonlight at night. The
tours are easy to moderate in difficulty, and all ages are welcome.
Reservations are required by 4 p.m. the day of the event, the tour
starts at 7 p.m. Call 496-3551 extension 117.
The Art and Science of Tracking on January 23, from 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
lets guests seek out the tracks and signs of forest animals and birds
and discover the wild side of the Green Mountains all while learning
about their ecology and habitat.
