Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom (WCVT), a fourth-generation, family-owned Vermont company, acquired Tilson’s Boundless Broadband Vermont fiber network, serving customers in Danville, Lunenburg, and Saint Johnsbury.

WCVT said in a statement, "While we may be new to some of the areas previously served by Tilson and Boundless Broadband, our roots run deep in Vermont, and our commitment to building and supporting rural broadband is stronger than ever. This acquisition reflects our ongoing mission to deliver reliable, locall-supported internet service to more Vermonters."

The network Tilson built aligns well with our existing infrastructure, which will help ensure a smooth transition and continued high-quality service.” 

WCVT also serves as the operating partner for three of Vermont’s Communications Union Districts (CUDs) : CVFiber, Maple Broadband, and NEK Broadband. These partnerships reinforce their commitment to collaborative, community-driven fiber broadband expansion to rural communities across the state of Vermont.
