Harwood Union High School's Theater Department stages "Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic." For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. Featuring all the stories people know, and the ones they didn't see.
All are welcome November 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening filled with laughter, friendship, and a touch of magic as the students of Harwood Union High School bring this story to life. "Puffs" is a hilarious and touching tribute to those who strive for greatness, even when they're not the main characters.
The show features juniors Tarin Askew and Julia Wulff as Wayne and Megan, and freshman Silvan Thompson as Oliver. Sophomore Nyx Gilson portrays the narrator. Other members of the Puffs include seniors Maddie Stephan and Casey Klus, junior Thalia Buyer-Little, sophomore Violet Ames, and freshmen Alex Fury, Addy McCain, and Eli Askew. The ensemble is filled out with sophomores Maya Muchler, Sage Erwin, Izzy Pockoski, and freshmen Abbie Stephan, Ash Deveccio, and Campbell Skates.
Performances are November 6, 7, 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harwood Union High School auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
