Mad Arts welcomes David Goodman and Porter Fox for a public conversation about ‘winter’ at the ZERO CELSIUS Exhibition in Waitsfield – January 17, 2026, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Goodman, award-winning journalist and host of The Vermont Conversation, known for his reporting on climate impacts and natural disasters, joins Fox, author of “The Last Winter,” which examines the shrinking of winter. Together, they will engage in a timely and thought-provoking dialogue focused on winter. ZERO CELSIUS brings together artists from all over the country whose work probes the textures, tensions, and transformations of winter. Audiences are invited to view the works and reflect, listen, and participate. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome at Mad Arts Gallery, 5031 Main Street, Waitsfield, VT, January 17, 2026, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Zero Celsius is on view from January 8 through April 23, Tuesday thru Thursday, 1 to 5 p.m.
