Albert Edwin Stone Sr., 85, of Louisville, TN, passed away Monday November 15, 2021. Albert was born on leap year February 29, 1936. He was raised in the Green Mountains of Vermont and served in the Army as a young man. On September 03, 1960, he married Donna Lee Shepard the love of his life of 56 years, who predeceased him in 2016. They started a family and later moved to Knoxville, TN, in 1980. Albert worked as a draftsman and estimator in the marble industry for 47 years. He was a loving husband, father, father-in law, grandfather and a good friend to others. In his younger years he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and animals. Later he enjoyed woodworking in his shop.
Albert was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Caroline (Brown) Stone, as well as sisters, Frances (Stone) Corliss, Ruth (Stone) Tifft, and brother, Lawrence Stone.
He is survived by his children, Bryan Stone of Washington, VT, Martin Stone of Louisville, TN, Albert E Stone Jr. of Knoxville, TN; Shana Stone of South Royalton, VT, Michael Stone of Madisonville, TN, Jacob Stone of Madisonville, TN, Anita Stone of Knoxville, TN, Hayden Luke Stone of Gatlinburg, TN; great- grandchildren, Havyn Stone of South Royalton, VT, Grace Stone of South Royalton, VT, Olivia Stone of Madisonville, TN, Jackson Stone of Madisonville, TN, Atlanta Stone of Madisonville, TN, Kyzo Stone of Madisonville, TN; sisters, Muriel (Stone) Frost of East Randolph, VT, Carole (Stone) Bacon of Springfield, VT.
