Raemon Weston

December 16, 1960 – August 9, 2025

Raemon L. Weston, 64, of Fayston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. Born on December 16, 1960, in Barre, he was the son of the late Raemon L. and Glennis J. (Brown) Weston. On January 18, 1986, he married Linda Corbiere at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski.

He grew up in the Mad River Valley, and graduated from Harwood Union High School in 1978. After high school, he went to work for ST Paving Company. More recently, he was the road foreman for the town of Warren; his last employer was the Griffin and Griffin Co. of Fayston, from which he retired in 2023.

He was a proud member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and taking care of his property. His camp on Lake Champlain in the town of Orwell was a very special place for him; he enjoyed being on the lake in his boat and spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his family, his wife of nearly 40 years, Linda Weston of Fayston, and his daughter, Chelsey Tautfest, and her husband, Ezra of Moretown; his son, Bradley Weston, and his wife, Laura of Queensbury, NY; his grandchildren Lena and Julian Tautfest and Hazel and Evelyn Weston; three brothers Lesley Martin of New Port Ritchie, Florida, Richard Weston of Colorado, Dan Weston of Calais; as well as nieces and nephews and extended family members. He is predeceased by three brothers, Stanley Martin, Roger Martin, and Wendell Weston.

A celebration of life for Raemon will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial gifts in his memory can be made to the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife.
