Key moments/plays from match:

Coach Peter Arsenault reported that Harwood had some nerves in the first set. They were able to come back to life halfway through the second set. Serving by Brianna Forkey and Savannah Fulton brought Harwood back into the game 19-21. Montpelier developed a strategy of returning the ball back over as soon as possible and were able to take advantage of Harwood's hitting errors to keep the lead. In the third set, it seemed like Harwood was going to start taking the energy of the game after Caroline Carst was able to throw down a big kill in the middle of the set. The rallies went back and forth while in the long run Montpelier's return ball put the ownership on Harwood where they ended up taking advantage of Harwood not being able to execute a challenging enough attack.

Harwood (3-10) will travel to Hartford on Thursday, October 19, for their last regular season game. JV 4:30 and varsity 6 p.m.
