To The Editor:
So, I must rant again. As Robert Reich suggests, we are entering – regardless of how it looks – the twilight of capitalism. Put simply, if the billionaires get all the money and the AI people replace all the workers… well, who the heck is going to buy the goods?
It can’t work, folks.
So, Democrats, please listen. First, draft Elizabeth Warren to run for president. Make her do it. Gavin Newsom won’t get elected.
And it’s kinda late for Bernie. AOC is too radical to get the votes that are needed. Elizabeth Warren is the only credible response to the insanity of the Republican’s “Let’s Go Full Speed In Reverse!” agenda.
Second, get out of the suits. All of you. And the ties. Blue jeans are what the future will wear. And not new ones, with creases. Old ones, broken in. That shows the work. And by the way, before the internment camps get really open, let's cool the jets on ICE. Before someone decides Vermont (your state here) is a den of subversives that shouldn’t be allowed to run free and make a racket.
The mid-terms better make a difference. It can happen here.
