To The Editor:

For the last 20 years, my health insurance has cost about $185 a month. As of January 1, 2026, my monthly cost will increase to $452 a month.  Yes, I did have copayments for 20 years, and at the new rate, I will not have any copayment, but I also will have zero drug, dental, and vision benefits.
