Moretown celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of its charter by hosting a four-day activity-filled event that takes place Thursday, May 24, through Sunday, May 26, throughout the village.
Activities will include a barbecue at Moretown Elementary School on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.; a potluck followed by a historical presentation at the Town Hall Friday at 5:30 p.m.; a village-wide yard sale Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by live music and dancing at the Town Hall at 6 p.m. (A complete schedule is listed below.)
Commemorative Moretown 250th T-shirts will be available for sale throughout the weekend at the Moretown Town Hall. Proceeds go to the Moretown Historical Society. Those with questions or who are interested in volunteering, please contact Meg –
