Moretown celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of its charter by hosting a four-day activity-filled event that takes place Thursday, May 24, through Sunday, May 26, throughout the village.

Activities will include a barbecue at Moretown Elementary School on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.; a potluck followed by a historical presentation at the Town Hall Friday at 5:30 p.m.; a village-wide yard sale Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by live music and dancing at the Town Hall at 6 p.m. (A complete schedule is listed below.)

Commemorative Moretown 250th T-shirts will be available for sale throughout the weekend at the Moretown Town Hall. Proceeds go to the Moretown Historical Society.
