In 1958 Ann met her future husband Will at a Universalist young adult dance. They were married in 1959 and purchased their home in Melrose where they began to raise their family.
Ann dedicated her life to developing and educating children. She spent many years as a volunteer, leading Camp Fire groups for each of her daughters and serving in various leadership roles for the regional Camp Fire Girls organization. Once her children were older Ann returned to her career, serving as Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn.
