To The Editor:

I’m voting yes on the bond to support the Warren town garage. Here’s why:

  1. The current garage is decrepit and well past its useful life. Our road crew deserves a safe, efficient space to work and to protect valuable town equipment.
  2. Relocating the garage will free up its current site – an ideal spot for workforce housing that could add vitality to the village.
  3. Moving heavy equipment out of the village, and away from the elementary school, will make the area safer and quieter.

Finally, I want to recognize our dedicated select board members, who’ve spent years researching sites, consulting with architects and builders, managing costs, and listening to residents. Their commitment and effort deserves our support.
