To The Editor:
We would like to thank the players of the Harwood boys’ and girls’ hockey teams, along with their coaches, parents, the Harwood Booster Club and Tanya Cheney, for their generous support of the Mad River Community Pantry. Their January fundraising event supported both our pantry and those of Duxbury and Waterbury, raising over $800 for our pantry alone, in addition to many boxes of food. We especially appreciate these donations as January was one of our busiest months ever, and also their gift of the beautiful jersey promoting the three food shelves. And it was so much fun to watch the games!
