Trump thinks his rule is absolute; we citizens know that in this country, we don’t have kings.
As the No Kings Coalition suggests:
…whether you're outraged by attacks by federal agents on everyday civilians, continued threats to civil rights, skyrocketing costs, abductions and disappearances, the gutting of essential services, or the assault on free speech, this moment is for you. Whether you've been in the fight for years or you're just fed up and ready to take action, this moment is for you.
We need to build a massive, visible, nonviolent, national rejection of this crisis. On March 28, we will see events across the country, in major cities and small towns in every state. We’ve seen Minneapolis stand, and now is our turn. Our goal is to show that the people—the majority—are taking action to stop the corruption and power grab.
All are welcome in Waitsfield on March 28, 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Main St. by the gazebo on the Village Green https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/900834/
Then if you want join in with a larger action, you can head to:
Montpelier: 12 to 2 p.m. https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/901165/? For a rally at the statehouse
Burlington- Marchers from around the city will join up together in a central location at City Hall Park at 12:30 p.m.
