Joe Grant, and Lisa Loomis, are offering Commit to Get Fit, a six-week class focusing on mobility, flexibility, and balance with emphasis on posture and core strength. The class will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. starting January 6 and running through February 13. The class takes place in the studio at 4740 Main Street in Waitsfield in the former CVMC physical therapy space.
Grant, Warren, is a licensed physical therapist who specializes in rehabilitation, prevention and improving sports performance as well as running, skiing, and biking. Loomis, Fayston is an NASM certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with specialties in balance training, cardio, strength and plyometric training, maintaining flexibility and core dynamics. Both recently taught Snow Strong, a ski/ride winter sports conditioning class in Waitsfield.
With this next class, Grant and Loomis are looking forward to working with people to develop and maintain proper mobility and flexibility while addressing important core strength and postural alignment. There will be a specific focus on active and dynamic balance with work designed to develop and improve posture and balance during athletic activity, daily life and on uneven/unstable and slippery surfaces.
