Zero Celsius

The Zero Celsius Art Exhibition will conclude with a special Art Auction and Closing Reception on April 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the gallery located at 5031 Main Street, (next to Tempest Books) Waitsfield.

This final event offers the public a last opportunity to experience Zero Celsius, an interdisciplinary exhibition that explores themes of winter experience and climate change through a diverse range of artistic perspectives, including moving video presentations. The closing reception will also feature an art auction, providing attendees the chance to acquire original works whether for personal collections or as meaningful gifts for art enthusiasts.

“Living with art enriches our lives and connects us to the creative forces that shape our world,” notes Executive Director Sam Talbot-Kelly adding, “This event is both a celebration of the exhibition and an invitation to take a piece of that inspiration home.”

In the lead-up to the closing event, the exhibition remains open for viewing Wednesday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.  Visitors are encouraged to stop in during these hours to engage more deeply with the work and themes presented.

The Zero Celsius exhibition has offered a thoughtful and timely reflection on the changing climate and the emotional, cultural, and environmental dimensions of winter. The closing reception and auction promise to be a vibrant conclusion to this compelling show.
