To The Editor:
What would the Supreme Court say about this?
Donald Trump is willing to accept gifts from people who make their money by fixing prices (which would put you in jail, or fine you, or bankrupt you if you were caught in the U.S.).
This so-called free plane accepted by Trump will be stolen goods, as the money they made to buy this came from their fixed price oil, which is illegal in the U.S. So, Trump is supporting stealing and price fixing by accepting this plane. The U.S. is the richest country in the world, built on business and, even more importantly, values. We do not value price fixing, so how could our president even think of accepting anything that was acquired by what we consider illegal means? In the U.S. you are prosecuted for knowingly acquiring stolen goods.
