Tabor, Mehuron host book conversation and fundraiser for the Big Picture
Waitsfield authors James Tabor and Kathy Mehuron will host a conversation about Mehuron’s new book “Down on the South Beach Drag” on September 18 at 5 p.m. at the Big Picture in Waitsfield. The story is set against the backdrop of 1972 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Participants can enjoy a cocktail named after the book during the discussion and afterwards enjoy a meal themed to the book. Stay for a retro screening of the award-winning film set in New Jersey, “The Wrestler,” starring Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei!
All proceeds will benefit the Big Picture Community Hub for the Arts.
