Mad Arts is opening its Mad Art and Design Shop at its gallery space in Waitsfield. Proceeds from the M.A.D (Mad Art and Design) Shop go directly to supporting working artists, youth art education, and community-based initiatives. Every purchase helps provide artist opportunities, hands-on learning experiences for young creatives, and expanded access to contemporary art across the region. “We are very excited to start a new endeavor at our gallery which we hope will bring more visitors to our art space. Stop by and get to know us!” said executive director Sam Talbot-Kelly. Pop into the art space to view exhibits, then shop and explore art and design, purchase themed art kits, gift certificates for items from the shop or for Mad Arts events, memberships, and more.
The M.A.D Shop opens December 18 at the holiday art party, 5:30 to 7 p.m. All are invited. The Gallery is open Tuesday thru Saturday. from 1 to 5 p.m. It will be closed for the holidays December 24 thru January 7 for the installation of “Zero Celsius” an art exhibition about the experience of winter as a season of wonder, silence, and survival on exhibit from January 8 thru April 23, 2026.
